ABOUT RADIO CLASH: This blog was started almost two years ago, but I’ve never managed to keep up with it. This is the blog’s fourth or fifth reincarnation — maybe this time it will manage to survive my perpetual loss of interest.
I’m trying to get myself back into the habit of taking pictures. I wouldn’t call myself a photographer, but for a long time I always had a camera in my hand. My memory is awful, and if creating a blog is the only way I can accurately document my life, then so be it.
What should you expect? Photos and snippets of my daily life (which is fairly boring, unfortunately), some fashion & beauty-related posts, music & book reviews — really, whatever strikes my fancy. It is MY blog, after all. I will say not to expect anything too deep or insightful or personal. It’s just not my style to delve into those kinds of topics over the internet where everyone can read them.
I’ll also be posting about moving out into my own apartment for the first time, and the challenges and triumphs that go along with decorating my small 1BR in Chicago on an extremely tight budget. I love mid-century modern furniture and I fully admit that sometimes my taste veers into kitschy, retro goodness. Expect posts about thrifting, DIY, and dumpster diving!
