I’m a 20-year-old college student obsessed with all things fashion. I have a hard time turning down a new pair of jeans or some fabulous shoes, even though my room is bursting with both.
Personal style: I’m somewhat of a style chameleon — I like to play around with different looks. I rarely look the same from day to day.
Inspirations: Old movies, street fashion, ’70s/’80s rock ‘n roll, well-dressed friends, my grandmother, photos of my parents in the ’70s.
Favorite music: The Clash, David Bowie, the Cure, Adam and the Ants,
Talking Heads, Queen, the Doors, Of Montreal, the Libertines, the Buzzcockz, Dead Kennedys, Billy Idol, the Sex Pistols, the Ramones, Generation X, Iggy and the Stooges, the Dead Boys, Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Earl Greyhound, AC/DC, Bob Dylan, Ween, Aerosmith, Joy Division, the Who, Foghat, Blondie, the Undertones, the Darkness, Head Automatica, the Exploding Hearts, Dean Martin, Franz Ferdinand, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Guns ‘n Roses, HIM, Joan Jett, MGMT, Pink Floyd, Richard Hell and the Voidoids, the New York Dolls, Stiff Little Fingers, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Rufus Wainwright… the list could go on forever, really.
Favorite movies: Any and all Disney movies, Pirates of the Caribbean, A Clockwork Orange, The Labyrinth, Peter Pan, Dazed and Confused, October Sky, Ferngully, Grandma’s Boy, Marie Antoinette, TMNT II: Secret of the Ooze, V for Vendetta, Pride and Prejudice, High Fidelity, The Sandlot, all of the LOTR movies.
Favorite books: 1984 by George Orwell, A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess, Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, The Giver by Lois Lowry, Maniac Magee by Jerry Spinelli, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by JK Rowling (I do love them all, though)… basically I love anything about dystopias.
Favorite TV shows: Cold Case Files, American Justice, Law and Order, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, South Park, Degrassi TNG, Gossip Girl.
