I have only recently started my new job, and though I fortunately work in a business casual office, I’m still having a little trouble picking out outfits that are both stylish yet work-appropriate.  I thought this one was a decent effort — simple, but with little details that made it look nice.  It’s a bit hard to tell from the picture, but the skirt has little buttons on the waistband — kind of nautical-inspired placement, I suppose.  And it has pockets, which automatically makes me love it.  I am a sucker for pockets in skirts/dresses.  This one was a great steal from a Theory outlet store for $40.
